Importers, manufacturers, producers or anyone trading in Malta is by law required to recover and recycle the resulting packaging waste. These recycling requirements also apply to waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) and batteries. By joining GreenPak, any business operator automatically transfers these obligations onto the GreenPak Compliance Scheme.

 

Established in 2004, GreenPak today operates three compliance schemes that recovers and recycles packaging, electrical/electronic waste and batteries throughout the Maltese Islands.
