Our mission is to educate
about better recycling practices

Our mission to educate and ensure better recycling practices continue!

This month GreenPak Coop was all about promoting better recycling practices.

Our fellow team members Ms. Denise Brincat and Ms. Annrica Zammit carried out training sessions to LESA officers about the monitoring of the door-to-door green/grey bag.

During these educational sessions, Ms. Brincat and Ms. Zammit spoke about the importance of recycling and littering, the legal framework and the door-to-door green bag monitoring exercise which GreenPak Coop is currently undertaking to educate the public on better recycling practices.

The monitoring being carried out in different localities involve GreenPak’s team visually inspecting the green/grey bags and attaching a warning sticker or red marking, indicating that there are items in the recycling bag that should not be disposed of. As a result, the marked bags are not collected by the waste collectors. On these stickers, one can find the list of items that can be disposed in the green/grey bags.

These sessions proved to be very fruitful. Following is a statement by the Officer i/c of LESA Training & Administration, Mr. Joseph Zerafa, who personally thanked the GreenPak team:

“The sessions were very interesting and informative; delivery was excellent too”.

The GreenPak team would like to thank LESA for the opportunity to collaborate and share our work. At GreenPak Coop, we value all opportunities to support and collaborate with organisations and the public to encourage and educate about ways to improve recycling practices.

Il-missjoni tagħna hi li nedukaw u niżguraw prattiki ta 'riċiklaġġ aħjar!

Dan ix-xahar GreenPak Coop kienet kollha dwar il-promozzjoni ta 'prattiċi aħjar ta' riċiklaġġ.

Il-membri tagħna, is-Sinjura Denise Brincat u s-Sinjura Annrica Zammit għamlu preżentazzjoni lill uffiċjali

tal-LESA dwar il-monitoraġġ tal-borża ħadra / griża.

Matul dawn is-sessjonijiet edukattivi, is-Sinjura Brincat u s-Sinjura Zammit tkellmu dwar l-importanza tar-riċiklaġġ u l-mifrex, il-qafas legali u l-eżerċizzju ta ’monitoraġġ ta’ boroż ħodor minn bieb għal bieb li GreenPak Coop bħalissa qed twettaq biex teduka lill-pubbliku dwar prattiċi aħjar ta ’riċiklaġġ.

Il-monitoraġġ li qed isir f’lokalitajiet differenti jinvolvi t-tim ta ’GreenPak jispezzjona viżwalment il-boroż ħodor / griżi u jwaħħal stiker ta’ twissija jew immarkar aħmar, li jindika li hemm oġġetti fil-borża tar-riċiklaġġ li m’għandhomx jintremew. Bħala riżultat, il-boroż immarkati mhumiex miġbura mill-kolletturi tal-iskart. Fuq dawn l-istikers, wieħed jista 'jsib il-lista ta' oġġetti li jistgħu jintremew fil-boroż ħodor / griżi.

Dawn is-sessjonijiet kienu produttivi ħafna. Is-Sur Joseph Zerafa, Uffiċjal ta 'LESA Training & Administration personalment irringrazzja lit-tim tal-GreenPak:

“Is-sessjonijiet kienu interessanti ħafna u informattivi; il-mod kif ġie ppreżentat kienet eċċellenti wkoll”.

It-tim GreenPak jixtieq jirringrazzja lil LESA għall-opportunità li tikkollabora u taqsam ix-xogħol tagħna. Fil-GreenPak Coop, aħna napprezzaw l-opportunitajiet kollha biex nappoġġjaw u nikkollaboraw ma 'organizzazzjonijiet u l-pubbliku biex jinkoraġġixxu u jedukaw dwar modi kif itejbu l-prattiki ta' riċiklaġġ.
